Statement of Purpose:
As a Chinese church dedicated to serving the Chinese students and local residents in Greater Manchester, we are seeking to build a magnificent multi-storey landmark building to reach out to the Chinese community.
Ministries Planning:
We aim to expand our ministries in the areas of Christian training, Evangelism, Mission and Community services making use of the purposely designed building:-
- Christian training - The Church shall continue to organise theological and practical training courses to equip leaders and ordinary members in their service to God. The purposely designed building shall provide the necessary seminar rooms and equipment for such purpose.
- Evangelism - Due to availability of more resources in the proposed building, the Church is able to initiate community based services and therefore widen contact with the Chinese community. This will enable our outreach teams to develop friendship with individuals for evangelistic work.
- Mission - The proposed building will have office and accommodation to enable the Alliance Mission to provide support for our national and world-wide mission to reach other parts of the world. The building can be used as conference / training centre for the preparation and development of long term and short term missionaries.
- Community services - Chinese Language School, Chinese Children's Library, Chinese Nursery Service, Children Tutorial School, Children Choir, Youth Work, Topical Seminars, Chinese Information Service, Family Leisure Centre, Family Counselling etc.
